LG Unveils 2024 OLED "UltraGear" Gaming Monitors: Can Switch Between 480Hz FHD & 240Hz UHD Modes On The Go 1

LG Electronics has revealed its plans for 2024's "UltraGear" gaming monitor lineup with two new OLED designs in 39" & 32" flavors.

LG's Upcoming "UltraGear" OLED Gaming Monitors Will Feature Different Modes, Switching Between High Refresh Rate & High-Resolution

LG is widely known for its efforts in expanding the OLED segment of monitors, especially when it comes to equipping them with cutting-edge technologies. The firm doesn't look to stop just yet, as it has intentions to make a dominant start going into 2024, with different entrants in its high-end UltraGear lineup, with the more exciting ones being the 32GS95UE & the 39GS95QE, both of which will open new doorways in the world of gaming monitors.

Starting with the 32GS95UE, while details regarding the particular monitor are slim, it is being reported that the 32" monitor will be the first one to feature a high refresh rate & high-resolution mode, allowing gamers to drastically change their display output depending upon their use.

The monitor would have the ability to switch to a blazing-fast 480Hz refresh rate when you are in Esports or high-refresh-rate gaming scenarios, and at the time of media consumption, you can switch to the 4K resolution mode, which also comes with a 240Hz refresh rate. The aim is to provide gamers with a platform that targets every use case, and it will be interesting to see how the idea turns out.

Apart from this, the 32GS95UE will also feature the industry's first "Pixel Sound Technology", which is a mechanism to generate sound directly through the vibrating film element of the OLED display. This would make the sound output much more centric to the user, providing a much better experience compared to what we see with traditional speaker placements in monitors.
