With The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild launching next year on Wii U and Switch in all regions, Nintendo is working hard to keep players informed on their upcoming game as much as possible. Recently, the Japanese company confirmed that they will be showing more of the game up until its release, and a brand new screenshot has been made available today.

The new The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, which can be found right below, has been shared on The Legend of Zelda Official Facebook page and it showcases a Guardian melee variation that's never been seen before. The guardian only has one arm in the screenshot, but it's likely that it lost the other while battling Link.

Another The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild screenshot has been released last week on the series' Official Facebook page, showcasing a beautiful snowy landscape, which was also shown in previous promotional material. The seasonal theme seems to be quite prominent in The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, as older screenshots had a clear Autumn and Spring feel.

The Legend Of Zelda Breath of the Wild will release on a yet to be confirmed 2017 date on Wii U and Switch in all regions. The game will release in June in all regions according to earlier rumors but Nintendo has yet to confirm the game's release date at this time. With the Switch Presentation 2017 coming up in very soon, it won’t take much longer to learn if the next entry in the Zelda series will launch alongside the highly anticipated Switch console.
