After Xiaomi, KTC is in the race to bring its cheapest QHD@200Hz offering yet, but KTC's monitor has a few advantages.
KTC Launches H27T22S-3 Pro Gaming Monitor, Featuring Up To 220Hz Refresh Rate at 1440P, Ergonomic Stand, and Built-in Speakers for Just Over $100
Monitor makers are going aggressive in pricing, particularly Chinese manufacturers, who have started competing to deliver the cheapest possible monitors for the masses. As you may recall, Xiaomi recently unveiled two ultra-affordable gaming monitors. One was the Redmi A-Series A22, which offered a 100Hz refresh rate at 1080p for just $53, and another IPS 1080p 144Hz monitor for an incredibly low $65.
There was another monitor called the Redmi G27Q 2026, which brought the mid-range gaming experience at just $112, offering up 200Hz refresh rate at 1440p resolution on an IPS panel. KTC, another popular monitor maker, has just released its direct competitor called the H27T22S-3 Pro for the same price tag, and while most specifications are identical, this one edges the Redmi monitor in a few areas.
The H27T22S-3 Pro is a direct successor to the H27T22S, which offered a 1440p@180Hz configuration, but the newer model brings a 200Hz refresh rate out of the box. Furthermore, it can be overclocked to 220Hz, bringing more fluidity, which is ideal for competitive gaming. The core specifications of the H27T22S-3 Pro are quite similar to the Redmi G27Q 2026, including the panel type, 1ms response time, 400 Nits of brightness, and a similar color gamut, including color spaces like 99% sRGB and 94% DCI-P3.
But the H27T22S-3 Pro also has an ergonomic stand, which the Redmi monitor offers for an additional $14. It's not clear whether the Redmi G27Q 2026 also has built-in speakers, but going by information provided on the official MI website, the speakers appear to be absent on the Redmi model. This gives the H27T22S-3 Pro a good advantage as well, as it is equipped with dual 2W speakers for convenience.
Connectivity is basically the same as well, and the H27T22S-3 Pro features the same 2x DP 1.4 and 2x HDMI 2.0 ports as found on the Redmi monitor, along with a 3.5mm audio jack.
