Apple plans to redesign its iPhone SE lineup significantly, and the launch is set to take place in the coming months of Spring. While we have a pretty good idea of what the next SE model will look like, alleged dummy units of the device have been leaked, highlighting the external design and form factor. Needless to say, the dummy unit shows exactly what past reports and rumors had to say about the iPhone SE 4.
iPhone SE 4 dummy units reveal the design of the device and what users should expect
Images of the alleged dummy units of the iPhone SE 4 were shared by Sonny Dickson, showcasing what the device will look like. If you are not familiar with it, the dummy units only represent the forthcoming design of a product, and other than this, these are completely non-functional units. Some accessory makers use these molds for cases, and these dummy units have proved to be entirely accurate in the past.
We have previously reported that Apple's iPhone SE 4 or the iPhone 16E will feature a design similar to that of the iPhone 14. This means that the device will feature a 6.1-inch display with a small notched display for Face ID. Speaking of, the SE 4 will finally replace Touch ID with Face ID, which is the company's superior means of authentication. While the rest of the design will be pretty similar to the iPhone 14, it will only feature a single 48MP camera lens on the back, which will be bigger compared to the iPhone SE 3.

We have also previously heard that the iPhone SE 4 could also come with an Action Button, mimicking the latest flagship models from the company. If so, the company wants to future-proof the device, and to be fair, it will be a great addition to the company's cheapest handset. You can see that the dummy units of the iPhone SE 4 feature a design that is almost identical to that of the iPhone 14.

Internally, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to feature Apple's A17 Pro or the A18 chip coupled with 8GB of RAM for Apple Intelligence. The device will be the cheapest iPhone from Apple and will support the company's latest AI features. The iPhone SE 4 is expected to launch in the Spring, possibly in April of this year, alongside a handful of additional products. What excites us the most is the device's sub-$500 price tag, which will give its Android counterparts tough competition. Do you think the iPhone SE 4 will sell well compared to the previous version?
