iPhone 15 bigger display than iPhone 14

This year, Apple is bringing Dynamic Island to the standard iPhone 15 models, which will put the device in line with the 'Pro' models. It was previously anticipated that the standard iPhone 15 would be identical to the iPhone 14 in terms of display size. However, the latest information coins that the base iPhone 15 will be slightly bigger than the iPhone 14 as far as the display size is concerned.

iPhone 15 will come with a 6.2-inch display, slightly bigger than iPhone 14's 6.1 inches

According to CAD renders obtained by 9to5mac and put to life by Ian Zelbo, the smaller iPhone 15 model will house a 6.2-inch display in contrast to a 6.1-inch. While the increase in display size is minuscule, it is not clear if the change will be implemented on the 'Pro' model as well. Take note that the body of the iPhone 14 Pro is slightly smaller than the iPhone 14 by a few millimeters. It managed to squeeze in the same display with the help of slimmer bezels and a deeper curve on all four corners of the screen.

If the body of the iPhone 15 is the same as the iPhone 14, the slightly larger screen is potentially due to slimmer bezels. Additionally, we are not aware at this point if the company will increase the screen size of the iPhone 15 Pro. If it does not, the iPhone 15 Pro will be the smallest device in the lineup this year.

While Apple is streamlining the iPhone 15 lineup with the inclusion of Dynamic Island on the standard models, the company will potentially offer differentiating factors. For instance, the iPhone 15 Pro models are slated to come with solid-state capacitive buttons, an upgraded A17 Bionic chip based on TSMC's 3nm process, and an upgraded camera setup. The standard iPhone 15 models will potentially feature the A16 Bionic chip with physical buttons.

We will update you guys on the latest specifications and changes that will be part of the iPhone 15 lineup, so be sure to stick around.
