Intel's LGA 1700 platform has never looked more appealing, as many 13th and 14th gen processors are now seeing significant price cuts. Intel's one of the best budget gaming processor, the Core i5 14600K has dropped to an incredible low price of $189 on Newegg, but with a $40 promo code, the processor can be bought for just $149. This is the lowest the processor has ever reached, making it the best value CPU for money at the moment.
The i5 14600K is comparable to processors like Ryzen 5 9600X in gaming and offers superior productivity, thanks to the 14-core/20-thread configuration. The only caveat is a non-upgradeable LGA 1700 platform, but if you are sure you won't be upgrading in the next 3-4 years, it will remain a solid performer for years to come.
