Despite no longer having a presence in the international market, Huawei is still making some excellent camera phones that you can buy in its home country. Take a look at the P60 series and Mate series of smartphones, which bring some of the finest camera technology and take the fight to some of the heavier hitters in the market. However, the company is now retiring the P series smartphones.
The Huawei Pura 70 series is taking the company to the future with up to four devices planned
Huawei has confirmed that its P series of smartphones will now be called Pura, and the next phone that is coming in the market will be called the Pura 70. This is what would have been the P70. Now, as far as the rename is concerned, we are not really sure of the reason, but the company does talk about how the devices are going to be upgraded and come with a "new attitude."
Huawei has also confirmed that the subsequent product series will continue with the 70 numeral, which is really interesting. I am looking forward to seeing what the company is going to do with its future phones. The information about the Huawei Pura 70 series does not just end there, as more information comes from Digital Chat Station, a reliable Weibo leaker. According to the leak, the company could be working on four different devices belonging to the same series. Have a look at that below:
This means that we are getting Huawei Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro, Pura 70 Pro Plus, and Pura 70 Ultra. It is very commendable, especially considering that there is almost no international presence. Although we are not sure about the availability of the Huawei Pura 70 series outside the Chinese market, it would be interesting if the phones actually arrived in global markets.
Even if Huawei manages to come out internationally, there still remains a big question about whether users would want to use a device without any Google services because that is certainly something that most people need to look into. I know that I will never be able to settle with a phone that does not have any Google services because of how reliant I am on them, and I can say the same for many people.
Will you give Huawei another try if they are to come to some international markets, or are you happy with your current OEM? Let us know in the comments below.
