With its sandbox mechanics, Crimson Desert is filled with a lot of secret techniques that can help you gain a sound advantage over the enemy. Among these is a secret disarm technique that is very easy to use, weakens enemies considerably and allow you to easily get their gear to sell for what is essentially infinite silver.

The Secret Disarm Mechanic

The game never explicitly warns you about this, but Kliff can force enemies to drop their equipment mid-fight and steal it even before the fight is over.

To disarm enemies, you have to:

  1. Equip a Shield, so no two-handed weapons or dual-wielding.
  2. Hold L1/LB to guard and wait for the enemy to strike your shield.
  3. Immediately after the clashing sound, press the R2/RT button.
  4. If the enemy is hit by this shield attack, they will drop their weapon and shield.
