Here Is Your First Official Look At The OnePlus 12R, Launching In Two Gorgeous Colors

The OnePlus 12R will be a great device for those looking for a more affordable offering. This is not going to be as powerful as the OnePlus 12, as there will be some corners cut, but that does not mean that the phone will not be good enough. For starters, you are looking at Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, a decent-sized battery at 5,500 mAh, and the Sony IMX890 primary sensor. This means that if you are looking for something solid, this is the way to go, as it will not disappoint you.

The OnePlus 12R is a looker and a possible budget king as long as it is priced right

Now, the one thing that we have not known until today is how the phone will look and how OnePlus will distinguish between the OnePlus 12 and the OnePlus 12R. Well, that is now answered as we have our hands on the first official poster of the phone showing the phone in two gorgeous colors.

As you can see in the image above, the OnePlus 12R will be available in black and blue colorways. Now, black has become a staple for almost all the phone companies out there, but I really like the blue variant. This is the first time OnePlus has introduced this shade, and honestly, it looks very pleasing to the eyes.

Circling back to the design, the OnePlus 12R does not take shame in admitting that it follows the same design we have seen on the likes of the OnePlus 11 and its elder brother, the OnePlus 12. This is certainly a great thing because the phone has now become instantly identifiable even from afar. Even the OnePlus Open offers a similar camera island on the back.

As far as the release date is concerned, the OnePlus 12R will be hitting the global markets alongside its elder sibling on January 23rd, 2024. The phone will be targeted at the upper-mid range market for anyone who is looking to save some bucks and still get a flagship-like experience.
