Here is Everything You Need to Know About OnePlus 12 Camera System

The OnePlus 12 is going to be released later this year in China, followed by a global release next year. The phone will be promising in almost every aspect, and today, the company has decided to highlight the phone's camera specifications.

The OnePlus 12 appears to have a pretty powerful camera system and incredible display

The official OnePlus Weibo account has gone ahead and shared several slides talking about the camera system on the OnePlus 12, as well as its display. The phone will bring the Sony LYT-808 sensor, which is apparently the same sensor found in the foldable OnePlus Open. The company talks about how it is the most powerful sensor in its class, but we will have to wait to see how it performs in real life.

Aside from the Sony LYT-808 sensor, the OnePlus 12 will also offer a 64-megapixel periscope zoom camera with a 1/2-inch sensor, f/2.6 aperture, and OIS. The sensor will be capable of delivering 3x optical zoom.

The OnePlus 12 will also be using OPPO's image algorithms. The phone is going to offer an Ultra-Clear Image Quality Algorithm, which will allow for clearer and more accurate photos. You will also get a Hyperlight and Shadow Algorithm, which will provide better contrast, and a Natural Color Algorithm with Hasselblad's natural color optimization. This sounds like many computational photography offerings, but we will have to wait and see how it works.

Last but not least, the OnePlus 12 will feature a ProXDR display with 2K resolution. However, the company has not offered any other details. I do have a feeling that this is the same display that could be in the Realme GT5 Pro with 3,000 nits.

The OnePlus 12 is scheduled to be released later this year in China, and we will be going ahead with the announcement post once the phone is out. Considering how the OnePlus Open restored many people's faith in OnePlus, I look forward to seeing how the next flagship works.
