Here is a List of Everything Galaxy AI is Capable of Doing

The Galaxy S24 series is full of AI-based features thanks to Galaxy AI, and although I am glad that the same features are coming to older devices, many people don't know what features Samsung announced last night. That is mainly because this year's Galaxy Unpacked was chock-full of announcements and things that we had to look forward to. However, if you are interested in finding out, let's have a look at all the features.

There are a lot of Galaxy AI features that I could see myself using actively

Now, the thing about Galaxy AI is that it is not just an AI assistant; it is a lot more than that, and contrary to what I had thought before, this artificial intelligence can be found in almost every aspect of the new Galaxy S24 devices. This is what makes it so much better than some of the other solutions you might encounter. After all, if you have been looking for something stellar, it might as well deliver on all fronts, right?

Let's start with the most obvious capability that comes with the latest Galaxy AI, which is the ability to help you with your photos and videos. Samsung has made sure that the company can rely on AI to improve the image and video quality of the Galaxy S24 devices. The company is using what it calls ProVisual Engine, which takes help from AI to make sure that the processing and editing are done correctly.

In addition to that, Galaxy AI also helps with better low-light shots, digital zoom, and optical zoom. Samsung has ensured that no matter what variant of Galaxy S24 you are on, the experience is seamless across all three devices. In addition to that, once you have captured the images and videos, several AI-based features are built into the Gallery app, so you can be sure that you can take your requirements there and fix all the things you would want in your images. Images that are edited using AI will have a small watermark on the bottom left indicating this change, which certainly is a good move from Samsung.

Another thing Samsung talked about when discussing Galaxy AI is that normal videos can now be converted into slow-motion videos. This feature will use AI to generate additional frames and add them to the normal footage, making it look like it is shot in slow-motion mode. This technique is already commonly used on larger scales and is called motion interpolation, but it requires proper equipment. Now, you can do so by using AI. I am really looking forward to seeing how this actually results because it is not easy to pull this technique off without introducing some glitches into the video.

Moving on, the Galaxy AI is also going to help you with language and voice. With the help of AI, your Galaxy S24 will be able to do live translation of all the phone calls you receive that are in another language. The feature will work in real-time and will make use of on-device AI that will generate both voice and text translation on phone calls both ways regardless of the phone the person is using on the other end. In addition to that, there is also going to be an interpretation feature that will transcribe and translate conversations for you in a split-screen view, and the best thing is that you will not need an active internet connection for this. Live translation, however, does require an internet connection.

Galaxy AI also brings Chat Assist, which is something that will be embedded into the Samsung Keyboard. You will be able to translate and change the tone of your messages all within the app, so you can actually make sure that your texts are properly tailored before you send them out. Additionally, the AI will be able to summarize documents and websites for you. The same feature will exist in the Samsung Notes app as the Note Assist feature, which should make your overall experience much easier and streamlined.

Galaxy AI has also found its way to the Voice Recorder app, as it will now use AI to generate transcriptions, summaries, and translations of files and phone calls that are up to three hours in length. Google Auto users will get a new feature summarizing incoming text messages and even telling you about relevant actions. In addition, Circle to Search is another great feature coming to the Galaxy S24 series that will allow you to circle any part of the screen, and it will pull up results from Google Search for you to take relevant actions. I think this is a feature that I will be using a lot once I finally get my hands on the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

There you have it, folks. These are all the features that are coming to the Galaxy S24 series as a part of Galaxy AI. These features will make their way to older Galaxy phones, but we are not sure of the extent of the implementation. We will be sure to keep you posted as we learn more about it. Until then, let us know what you think about the new devices and whether or not you are getting one.
