The upcoming new God of War has been listed for a release in 2018 by the man playing Kratos.

On his Twitter account, Christopher Judge, has listed God of War for a release next year. At the time of writing, the release year was removed from his description, but Google cached his Twitter page before the update.

The actor portraying Kratos has recently listed the game for a release in 2017, but seemingly changed this to reflect the game’s most recent release frame.

We recently reported on a Portuguese retailer listing the game for a release in September 2017, but based on this new information, that seems unlikely.

As with all speculations and rumors, take the information above with a grain of salt as nothing has been officially confirmed yet. The new God of war 4 for Sony's PlayStation 4 has been in development for quite some time, but according to the game's director Cory Barlog, development is going well and a final release date might very well have been set recently.
