Newer Radeon and GeForce cards are about to arrive as some of the board partners have started registering newer GPUs.

Gigabyte and MSI Prepare RTX 5060 Ti 16GB Cards; Gigabyte also Registers 8GB and 16GB RX 9060 XT GPUs on RRA

AMD and NVIDIA are finally transitioning to the 60-class cards, which is evident from the preparation of their board partners. We mostly hear about the RTX 5060 series GPUs, but there is hardly anything related to the RX 9060 series. At least now, we have one such leak by @harukaze5719.

As spotted on the South Korean Radio Research Agency (RRA) website, Gigabyte has registered two models of the Radeon RX 9060 XT GPUs. These are the Gaming and Gaming OC editions with 16 GB and 8 GB memory configurations. Previously, we saw a similar registration by ASUS, which registered 8 GB and 16 GB Radeon RX 9060 XT cards and this indicates that both the GPUs are about to launch in the near future.

Similarly, several models of the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti were also registered by Gigabyte, including the Gaming, AERO, AORUS, WindForce, and Eagle editions. As many as seven RTX 5060 Ti cards were registered and all of them are 16 GB variants. MSI has also prepared nine variants of the RTX 5060 Ti and all of them are 16 GB editions. We have yet to see the 8 GB editions, but considering they are going to launch the same day as the 16 GB card, AIBs likely have prepared them too.

Both the RTX 5060 Ti and RX 9060 XT are direct competitors and will target the budget segment. The GeForce RTX 5060 Ti will be based on the GB206 die and will feature 4608 CUDA Cores. The GPU is said to cost $399 and $499 for the 8 GB and 16 GB editions respectively. As far as the RX 9060 XT goes, the GPU is expected to be priced slightly lower than its rivals from NVIDIA, but nothing is confirmed yet.

It is expected that the RX 9060 XT will feature the Navi 44 die and will have a 128-bit memory bus width, similar to the RTX 5060 Ti. The latter is going to launch on 15th May with the retail launch occurring on the same day. There is no specific date reported for the RX 9060 XT launch, but it is also going to launch in the second quarter. Hence, we may see the RX 9060 XT GPU soon after the RTX 5060 Ti hits the shelves.
