Thanks to the powerful components fueling the innards, you will only rack up a few hours of endurance from this gaming laptop, and that too after checking out a few tweaking guides such as disabling background applications, adjusting keyboard backlighting and display brightnesst to name a few. When it comes to the I/O, the gaming laptop offers a versatile selection while also throwing in Thunderbolt 4 for that extra throughput.
About the only thing we do not appreciate about the GIGABYTE AORUS 17 YE5 is that the 1080p panel does not do justice to the immensely powerful RTX 3080 Ti and its 16GB VRAM. A 1440p resolution would have been the sweet spot, but you can purchase an external monitor in a couple of months to allow this machine to flex its muscles properly.
