AMD's best gaming CPU from the Zen 4 lineup is now live at Newegg's FantasTech Sale but unlike the usual price discount, the retailer is offering a free component with the CPU. AMD's Ryzen 7 7800X3D, which is still among the top performers in 2025 already lists for a sub-$400 price tag since the launch of Ryzen 7 9800X3D, but now you get a free 1 TB SSD with the Newegg deal.
At $369, Newegg is offering a TeamGroup 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD paired with 7800X3D, essentially reducing the price tag of the CPU to below $300. The SSD currently sells for $79, and if we subtract this amount from the deal price, you are getting 7800X3D for $290. That's one of the best offers we have seen in a while for the 7800X3D.

Ryzen 7 7800X3D offers 8x Zen 4 cores and 96 MB L3 cache that helps it achieve solid performance in games and select applications. The 7800X3D is around 7-10% slower than the 9800X3D but at $369, it already offers a much higher value than the latter. At $290, no other CPU beats the 7800X3D in price-to-performance ratio.
All you need is a cheap 600 or 800 series motherboard and 16 GB DDR5 memory to get a powerful gaming system.
