The new PSUs launched by GameMax are the GX-1050 PRO BK and GX-1050 PRO WH, featuring support for the latest Nvidia RTX GPUs via the latest ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards.

GameMax, the company behind many gaming cases and power supply units has launched two new PSUs. These are the GX-1050 PRO BK and GX-1050 PRO WH, boasting the 80 Plus Platinum Rating for power efficiency. Both PSUs are fully compliant with the latest ATX 3.1 and PCI-E 5.1 standards and bring modern 16-pin 12V-2x6 connectors. With the new standard, a powerful 12V rail is provided for high-end Nvidia RTX GPUs such as the RTX 4070, RTX 4080, and RTX 4090 GPUs along with their Super editions.

The power supply units are essentially identical in features and specifications except for their color theme. One is a complete white edition while the other is a regular black one for users who choose their components according to a particular theme. The GX-1050 PRO WH comes with fully flat white cables and the GX-1050 PRO BK comes with black ones.

Users will get a fully modular design and a wattage capacity of 1050W to power high-end components inside a high-end PC build. Offering a 10-year warranty, GameMax is promising reliability and a competitive warranty period found on similar high-end power supply units from other brands.

These units boast a 'Cable-Free' technology that uses the SMT manufacturing process for installing the components directly to the PCB without having to deal with soldering and copper wires. The units utilize high-quality 105°C Japanese Nichicon capacitors for reliability and have multiple heavy-duty protection features to protect your components from faulty currents and voltages.

Users will find a 135mm Silent Fluid Dynamic Bearing Turbo Axial Fan equipped with Intelligent Temperature Control to enable the fan to run silently on low loads. Through dynamic bearing, the fans offer a long lifespan and run without creating much noise.
