Anthem and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Top Nominees for the 2018 E3 Game Critics Awards

Earlier this week, we here at Wccftech posted our E3 2018 Awards, but if you’d like a somewhat broader view of what reporters thought about the big show, the nominees for the E3 Game Critics Awards have been announced. The awards are organized by Geoff Keighley and are decided by a few dozen judges from the gaming press (sadly, Wccftech wasn’t included!) It should be noted, these awards are strictly based on hand-on demos, so games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Dying Light 2 weren’t eligible.

Anthem leads the pack with five nominations, while Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is the runner up with four nominations. A number of games, including Spider-Man, Resident Evil 2 Remake, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate nabbed three. Here’s the full list of nominees:
