Now, a new report suggests that the same camera sensor could find its way into the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6. If that is the case, then Samsung will be fixing one of the main concerns with its foldable phone lineup.

The tip is coming from Revegnus, a reliable tipster with a proven record, who claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be equipped with the same sensor as the one we see on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The tipster also states that Samsung has decided to go with this decision instead of increasing the battery capacity on the phone.
If this happens to be true, then the Galaxy Z Fold 6 could become the best foldable in terms of camera performance. The same camera is found in the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which has managed to make a name for itself ever since its release. I can't see how it will not help the users on the foldable side of things with the performance. I believe that with proper optimization, things could go well with the overall photography experience.
It is also worth noting that this is not the first time we have heard about foldable phones getting an upgraded camera system. The last time we heard a similar rumor, it was about the Galaxy Z Flip 6 coming with an upgraded camera system, and now, it appears that the same could be done for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Of course, it is too early to say anything, so I would highly advise that you take this with a grain of salt because you can't know for sure what Samsung is planning with its foldable phones.
One thing is for certain, the cameras are among the biggest concerns that I have with Samsung's foldable devices. So, if the Galaxy Z Fold 6 could truly come with a powerful camera system, then that would put Samsung in a winning position. As a lifelong Samsung user, I would really like to see that happen.
