Samsung Galaxy S9 to Feature Several Improvements in Form of AI and Audio Through Dolby Surround
The hype around Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ is building up as we are less than two weeks away from the official announcement of the flagships. The phones will be unveiled on February 25 in Barcelona and the latest string of info details improvements being made but on the inside.
Since the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S8 have virtually very little difference to set them apart from a design perspective, it looks like Samsung is focusing on the hardware internals for the latest series.
Bixby Vision Rumored to Provide Real-Time Translation on Galaxy S9 – Flagship Could Provide Exceptional Sound Through Speakers Tuned by AKG
The latest rumor claims that Samsung has made some improvements to its voice assistant Bixby on Galaxy S9. In addition, both flagships may come with dual Dolby Surround speakers tuned by AKG. Like last time, Samsung could bundle AKG earphones, which should deliver stellar audio quality for the user.
The Galaxy S9 could deliver real-time translation via Bixby Vision with Google Translate integrated with this feature. Not just this, but we could also see improved Bixby Vision’s augmented reality features. Right now, it can identify establishments and landmarks that are in front of or in your surroundings.
It depends on Foursquare for information currently but may switch to Google on Galaxy S9 for accurate and fast-paced results. This will let it expand its horizon and recognize more places and provide more information as Google is a data powerhouse.
Samsung’s competitors are doing better in the stereo speakers department and so the Korean giant has finally decided to do something about it. Though these rumors are yet to be confirmed, we have a strong feeling in our gut that massive chunk of changes are going to be incorporated on the inside, and that is something we are looking forward to.
