According to a previous report, the company aims to sell a total of 60 million combined Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ units, overshadowing the number of units accumulated by the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge run.
Both of these previous generation smartphones had increased in production thanks to the Galaxy Note7 fallout, and because they shared similar attributes with the now defunct phablet, they were able to help the tech giant post an impressive financial report.
According to Reuters, (via BGR) both the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge were the best-selling smartphones of all time, and the company expects its Galaxy S8 lineup to exceed its expectations by a long margin. The Samsung DeX Station could also be a primary reason why the tech firm expects a larger number of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ sales.
