GALAX has launched a brand new single-slot GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GPU, which features 16 GB VRAM and blower-style cooling.
GALAX's Single-Slot GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB GPU Is Perfect For SFF PCs and AI Workstation Setups
GALAX is one of those graphics card manufacturers that are known to go out of the way in the graphics card designs. The company has iconic OC designs under its HOF series and has also made some fantastic SFF solutions. This time, GALAX is offering a single-slot GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB GPU, which is pretty much what the name suggests. This also isn't the first time GALAX has made a Single-Slot design since they also offered the RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB GPU in a similar design previously.
The GALAX GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB MAX graphics card features a single-slot design and is just 20mm wide. The card comes with a single-blower style fan that pushes air through a vapor chamber heatsink & makes use of high-quality Honeywell Phase-Change TIM to ensure that it can cool the 180W TDP of the RTX 5060 Ti GPU.
As for the internals, the GALAX GeForce RTX 5060 Ti single-slot GPU features an 8-layer PCB with an 8+2 phase design. The card is powered by a single 8-pin connector and features the standard display config of 3 HDMI 2.1 and one DP 2.1 ports. The card features the reference specs of 4608 CUDA cores, up to 2572 MHz clocks, and memory running at 28 Gbps across a 128-bit interface.
In terms of size, the card measures 280x126x20mm, which is decent enough and can fit inside most SFF PC cases. AI workstations will be one of the biggest use cases for this GPU, as motherboards with at least seven PCIe slots, such as the one recently revealed by Maxsun, can support up to 7 of these GPUs for up to 112 GB of VRAM.
The NVIDIA RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell also exists with up to 24 GB of VRAM in a single-slot design, and uses a 16-pin connector. However, the main concern with that graphics card is its price. The RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB GPUs cost around $430-$450, while the RTX PRO 4000 costs anywhere around $1500-$2500. So, AI builders looking for a more cost-effective approach would see the 5060 Ti Single-Slot as the go-to card for their needs. Even with a 4999 RMB listed price in China, the card is still half the cost of the RTX PRO, but once again, this model should be limited to APAC regions only.
