G.Skill is about to bring its latest CUDIMM modules for high performance on Intel's Core Ultra 200S Desktop CPU platform.
"Sleek Style, Super Speed": G.Skill showcases its Trident Z5 CK DDR5 CUDIMM Memory Module
Several memory manufacturers have started preparing CUDIMM memory modules which are noticeably faster than the regular DIMM DDR5 memory modules. G.Skill is now entering the game with its own CUDIMM memory modules, which it teased recently on social media. The memory was first unveiled at Computex 2024.

In an X post, G.Skill's official account posted a pic of a Trident Z5 CK memory module, claiming that it is "Sleek Style, Super Speed" RAM, which will feature the CUDIMM standard. The memory module was previously spotted at the Core Ultra 200 Series launch but we now know more info about this memory.
The DDR5 CUDIMM (ECC RDIMM) memories bring a Clock Driver onboard, which supports ECC or Error Correcting Code that enhances the result by detecting and eliminating single-bit errors. Not only do the CUDIMM memories bring higher performance out of the box for mainstream PCs but are also highly beneficial for servers and workstations where data accuracy is vital.
G.Skill is known for its high-performance Trident Z series RAM kits and with the addition of the Trident Z5 CK DDR5 CUDIMM memory, it will compete against other memory giants such as Crucial, ADATA, and Asgard, which recently launched their own CUDIMM memories.
The new pics show some of its specifications, including CL timings and RAM speed. As per the sicker, the G.Skill Trident Z5 CK CUDIMM DDR5 will feature 8200 MHz RAM speed and CL40-52-52-131 timing at 1.4V. These are the 24 GB modules. so a kit will feature a 48 GB size in total.
The memory modules don't feature any RGB lights and feature medium-sized heatsinks to avoid any clearance issues. As of now, most memory manufacturers are starting with low-profile memory modules and only a few have started releasing RGB editions. CUDIMM memories bring higher clock speeds out of the box for improved gaming and productivity performance and they have better scalability compared to regular DIMMs.
