The next entry in the Fable series was among the highlights of yesterday's Xbox Showcase, and the impressive in-game trailer just got more impressive, as it wasn't captured on a high-end PC.

Speaking on Twitter, Playground Games' Lighting Artist Lukas Kelz confirmed the trailer was captured on an Xbox Series X, which almost sounds impossible, given the high quality of the visuals seen in it. Playground Games always does impressive work, and it seems like they are really bringing their A-game for the anticipated next entry in the series.

While it didn't show any gameplay, the new Fable trailer did an excellent job showcasing the game's atmosphere, which will retain the original game's sense of humor and British feel. How Playground Games will handle the game's open-world and action role-playing game elements remains to be seen, but it's clear, so far, that the development studio is putting every effort into making Fable a game to remember.

Fable is currently in development for PC, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S, but a release window has yet to be confirmed. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
