The Division 1.2 Update To Be Released Next Week, New Trailer Released
In the past few weeks, Ubisoft Massive has talked about some of the tweaks and fixes coming The Division in the next update. Earlier today, the team has finally announced when update 1.2 will hit all formats, revealing some new details in the process.
With a post on the official Blog, Ubisoft Massive has confirmed that The Division 1.2 update will be released on all formats and in all regions sometime next week. One of the biggest additions of the update is a new Incurision called Clear Sky, which will pit Division Agents against Rikers, challenging players to take back a formerly LMB-controller anti-air site. The Conflict Incursion is also showcased in a new trailer, which you can watch right below.
The Conflict Incursion isn't the only new feature included in The Division 1.2 update, as it will add new high-value targets, changes to the Dark Zone, with players gaining the ability to hijack loot, new gear sets and more.
Another new feature coming in the Conflict update is high-value targets (HVT). The HVT officer inside your base of operations will provide you with a list of these targets, along with a description, their level, and the recommended gear score you need to engage them. You’ll have a limited amount of time and only one chance to take down these targets.
The Dark Zone will see some changes that are going to make extractions even more intense than they were before. Specifically, Agents will now have the option to hijack your loot. This means that a player can run to an extraction rope and cut it, causing all of the loot to fall to the ground.
Additionally, Ubisoft Massive confirmed that it won't take long for players to learn more about the update, as the Conflict Incursion and the content of the 1.2 update will be shown on May 19th at 10:00 AM PDT on The Division Twitch Channel.
The Division is now available in all regions on PC and consoles. The new update will be released next week on all formats.
