Today, Bungie announced a partnership with CD Projekt RED for a The Witcher crossover in Destiny 2. When Season of the Wish debuts next week, players will be able to obtain cosmetic items inspired by the legendary Geralt of Rivia, such as armor ornaments, a Ghost shell, a ship, a Sparrow, an emote, and a finisher.

Starting this Friday, the Bungie Store will also launch its biggest sale of the year, Savathûn's Spire Savings (the in-world equivalent of Black Friday), while also relaunching limited quantities of retired Bungie Rewards. Anyone participating in this sale will obtain the Darkstar emblem for free, while the new Wishing Well emblem will be sent via email to players who make purchases between November 24 and 28.

The Bungie Store sale ends on December 1st. During this time, shipping costs will be a flat $7 in the United States (across the 48 contiguous states), the United Kingdom, and Europe.

Destiny 2 players can also purchase Lightfall and other previously released content packs at up to 67% discounted prices on Steam, PlayStation Store, and Xbox Store until November 28.

Season of the Wish is the final Destiny 2 season before The Final Shape, the expansion set to launch on February 27, 2024 (despite credible rumor that it has been internally delayed to June). In Season of the Wish, Guardians will come back to The Dreaming City where they will discover new activities, gear, and secrets.

Destiny 2 isn't doing too hot right now. The community is unhappy with how Bungie handled the live service game lately, which is reflected by the declining player numbers on Steam.

The recent layoffs certainly didn't help matters. Over a hundred employees were let go, primarily due to Destiny 2 revenue tracking 45% below projections for the current year. Will Season of the Wish and The Final Shape get the game back on track? Let us know your opinion in the comments.
