Today, CD Projekt RED has officially announced Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition. This version of the first-person open world roleplaying game includes both the base game and the recently released Phantom Liberty expansion. It also comes with a set of previously released digital goodies available as part of the “My Rewards” program.

As previously leaked by a GameStop listing, Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition is set to launch on December 5th across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X, both digitally and at retail stores. In Wccftech's review, the Phantom Liberty expansion (and the free 2.0 update) earned a 9.2/10 score.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty builds upon what was an already great game to deliver more fantastic storytelling (with a spy thriller theme, this time around), exciting combat, and very high-quality side content. The perk tree overhaul is a major improvement to progression, and additions like vehicle combat and the overhauled police system are very welcome, albeit not game-changing. If you've been holding out on Cyberpunk 2077 until now, you'll find a huge game with over 120 hours of quality content and an incredibly immersive game world to literally lose yourself in. On top of that, it's by far the most beautiful and technically advanced game available if you have the hardware for it (PC and RTX 40 GPU).

Yesterday, Wccftech published an exclusive interview with CD Projekt RED Global Art Director Jak Jakub Knapik. We discussed further path tracing improvements on the way to Cyberpunk 2077, the upcoming addition of AMD FSR 3 (which still has no ETA), and got his perspective on the planned switch from the in-house RED Engine technology to Epic's Unreal Engine 5, which will power all of the future games crafted by the Polish studio starting with The Witcher 4.

Earlier today, we also reported on a new 'Ultra Plus Better Path Tracing' mod that claims to improve performance as well as visual quality on PC.
