The Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty can almost look like a new entry in the Fallout series thanks to a new visual overhaul mod that was released online this week.

The Ultimate Cyberpunk Graphics mod, which can be downloaded from Nexus Mods, is a ReShade preset made using the Natural Californian Lighting Mod, which makes the game look less saturated and overall colder, almost mimicking the lighting and atmosphere of the most recent entries in the Fallout series. Among the shaders used are Lightroom, CAS sharpening, and various Bloom effects, which can be turned off after installation.

The Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty expansion brings the game's visuals to new heights with the introduction of a new location, Dogtown, which possibly looks better than Night City. With the proper mods and the extremely demanding path tracing, the location looks almost unreal, as showcased by a 4K resolution video shared online yesterday.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One worldwide. The Phantom Liberty expansion, of which you can learn more by checking out our review, is available on PC and current generation consoles only.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty builds upon what was an already great game to deliver more fantastic storytelling (with a spy thriller theme, this time around), exciting combat, and very high-quality side content. The perk tree overhaul is a major improvement to progression, and additions like vehicle combat and the overhauled police system are very welcome, albeit not game-changing. If you've been holding out on Cyberpunk 2077 until now, you'll find a huge game with over 120 hours of quality content and an incredibly immersive game world to literally lose yourself in.
