Colorful Debuts SMART 900 AI Mini PC, Offering High Performance for Professionals with Ryzen AI Max+ 395 APU
The Chinese PC hardware brand, Colorful, has today introduced its latest offering in the mini PC category. It unveiled the SMART 900 AI Mini PC, which is powered by AMD's fastest Zen 5 Strix Halo chip to get intensive workloads done in minutes without requiring a lot of space on the desk.
The SMART 900 AI mini PC uses the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor that uses Zen 5 and Zen 5c cores to achieve high performance with good power efficiency. With a core configuration of 16 cores and 32 threads, the SMART 900 is ready to crunch large numbers and help professionals with complex AI workloads. AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 brings RDNA 3.5-based Radeon 8060S integrated graphics for intensive graphical workloads such as gaming, video editing, 3D rendering, etc., and all that without the need for a discrete GPU.
SMART 900 AI mini PC uses a compact 4-litre chassis, featuring an industrial design that not only takes up less space on the desk but also looks sleek. The aluminum chassis used for the chassis has ventilation on the sides and uses a premium anodized finish for longevity. Users will find modern connectivity options on the mini PC, such as the latest Wi-Fi 7 module and an Ethernet port that supports 2.5 Gbps of bandwidth.
For peripherals and stuff, there are 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type A ports, 1x USB 4.0 Type C port, 1x SD 4.0 card port, and an Audio jack combo. At the rear, you will find many more such ports, including 2x USB 2.0 Type A, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type A, and 1x USB 4.0 Type C for peripherals. For display, the SMART 900 is equipped with a DP1.4 HBR3 port and an HDMI 2.1 port to support high-resolution and refresh rate displays.
