The new Shadow II DDR5 series brings a new design inspired by the iGame Shadow series and offers various capacities for the AM5 platform to enhance the performance of Ryzen 9000-based systems.
Colorful Introduces iGame Shadow II DDR5 for Ryzen 9000, Featuring up to 6400 MT/s Speed and Available in up to 2x 48 GB Configuration
PC hardware maker, Colorful, has begun producing its second lineup of the iGame Shadow series, known as the iGame Shadow II. The new series features a new design on DDR5 memory heatsinks, which is clearly inspired by the iGame Shadow, but the lineup has received more kits than before, offering configurations with up to 96 GB capacity.

The Shadow II DDR5 memory is specially crafted for the Ryzen 9000 processors, and while it will be compatible with both Intel and AMD platforms, Colorful says that it will unlock full "gaming" potential of AMD's Ryzen 9000 series CPUs.
The iGame Shadow II flagship DDR5 memory kits build on the successful foundation of the first-generation iGame Shadow series, engineered specifically for the AMD Ryzen 9000 platform. It supports both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP 3.0 technologies. Featuring DDR5-6400 with ultra-low CL28 latency, these kits are designed for effortless plug-and-play performance with pre-configured profiles that unlock the full gaming potential of AMD’s latest desktop CPUs.

The heatsinks over the DDR5 modules bring a beautiful design, inspired by striking ink-wash painting, which was a classical East Asian art in China's Tang Dynasty. The dynamic shadow character is printed on the side, and RGB LEDs are integrated on top of the heat spreaders for illuminating the rig from inside. As far as its specs are concerned, we are seeing five different kits with various capacities and latencies. These include 32 GB, 48 GB, 64 GB, and 96 GB kits with speeds going as high as 6400 MT/s out of the box through AMD EXPO support.

With latencies as low as CL28 at 6400 MT/s, these will offer optimal performance in gaming but can be pushed to higher speeds with manual overclocking. At the moment, Colorful has decided to launch only the CL28 2x 24 GB (48 GB) kit, but will launch other kits later. Pricing and exact date of availability is not disclosed yet.
