New information on Capcom's upcoming games, such as the Resident Evil 4 remake and Exoprimal, will come next week in a brand new event called Capcom Spotlight which was announced today.

The event, which will be streamed next week, March 9th, at 2:30 PST on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Tik Tok, will be approximately 26 minutes long and will provide information on the aforementioned Resident Evil 4 remake, Exoprimal, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection and Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.

Among the games that will be showcased during the Capcom Spotlight event, the first one to release will be the Resident Evil 4 remake. Earlier this week, I had the chance to check the game out, which is setting out to be a more than competent remake, as I highlighted in my preview.

With its incredible atmosphere kept intact and enhanced by the RE Engine and expanded gameplay, the Resident Evil 4 remake is setting out to be a great game for veterans and newcomers alike. How the many changes will hold up remains to be seen, but from what has been shown so far, it definitely looks like Capcom has done an amazing job remaking one of its most popular games.

While not as popular as the Resident Evil 4 remake, Exoprimal is also setting out to be an interesting project that could become great with some tweaks, as I noted in my closed network test hands-on preview from last year.

Exoprimal may have no connection with Dino Crisis, but this shouldn't stop players looking for a new fun multiplayer romp from trying the game. How it will hold up depends entirely on the support CAPCOM will provide after launch, but a very solid base is there. I, for one, am very curious how the company will handle its game and cannot wait to be able to experience more dinosaur slaying action when Exoprimal releases sometime in 2023 for PC and consoles.
