The CAPCOM Spotlight livestream was pretty stacked with new trailers and even some news, such as PRAGMATA launching a week earlier than expected. Originally scheduled for Friday, April 24, 2026, the action/adventure game based on a new sci-fi IP will debut on Friday, April 17, 2026. There is a little exception to this: in Japan and across Asia, the Nintendo Switch 2 version of PRAGMATA is still launching on the original date of April 24.

The CAPCOM Spotlight also debuted a new PRAGMATA trailer showcasing previously unseen locales in the game's lunar setting. These include the moon's surface and a lush, greenhouse-like area of the station where formidable new enemies await Hugh and Diana as they try to escape and return to Earth.

The trailer also introduced new elements found within the Shelter. In this base of operations, Hugh and Diana meet Cabin, a support robot that assists with various Shelter functions. These include the Cabin Stamp Club, where Cabin Coins can be exchanged for rewards from the stamp board, with additional bonuses for completing rows. Cabin also enables players to select different background music for the Shelter via its jukebox, with more tracks becoming available as players progress through the game. Players can also equip cosmetic items here and enjoy extras like those found in the Deluxe Edition and its Shelter Variety Pack. The latter includes extra costumes, a weapon skin, Diana gestures, more Shelter music, and a collection of artwork.

The CAPCOM Spotlight then moved to Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, which is out next week. Indeed, fans were treated to the game's official launch trailer, which features a dramatic synopsis of the story and announces a special animated trailer offering an expanded look at the protagonist's childhood and their journey to becoming a Ranger, which takes place before the game's events.

CAPCOM also revealed that linking save data from select Monster Hunter titles unlocks layered armor bonuses, including the Hakum Rider Outfit, Mahana Rider Outfit, Kamura Garb, and the Hope Layered Armor set for the Protagonist, while connecting a CAPCOM ID grants the Catcom Work outfit for Rudy.

The CAPCOM Spotlight continued with a brief update on Mega Man: Dual Override, which was announced a few months ago during The Game Awards 2025. Game producer Hiroyuki Minamitani provided an update on the game's boss design contest. Starting from nearly ten thousand submissions, 20 contenders emerged, and now the top six designs have been selected based on fans' votes. The development team will now choose one winner, who the Blue Bomber will face when the final game launches next year.

Then it was time for Street Fighter 6, with CAPCOM focusing on the Outfit 4 showcase. The new outfit will be released on March 17, alongside the new fighter, Alex, whose hard-hitting wrestling techniques and walkout sequences were mocapped by legendary professional wrestler Kenny Omega.

The spotlight also provided a quick glimpse at the upcoming live action Street Fighter movie. An extended look at the film will be released later this month during Capcom Cup 12 and Street Fighter League: World Championship 2025.

Finally, there was a surprise that had not been mentioned among the games that would be featured at the CAPCOM Spotlight: an overview trailer for Onimusha: Way of the Sword. The video reveals that the protagonist, Miyamoto Musashi, set out to prove his swordsmanship but was struck down by the Genma, a race of immortal demons. Musashi is, however, inexplicably revived, and with the Oni gauntlet strapped to his arm, he sets out to cleanse the land of the Genma invasion. Beyond them, he'll have to contend with his long-time rival Sasaki Ganryu, but he'll also be able to lean on several allies. CAPCOM also promised that throughout Onimusha: Way of the Sword (which was previously described as a linear experience), players will encounter several strange tales and unsettling mysteries.
