Today, a two-day digital event called Capcom Highlights was announced by the Japanese publisher. Capcom said it would be hosted by YouTube content creator FightinCowboy. Notably, it also clarified there won't be any news about Monster Hunter Wilds yet, likely to prevent the countless fans of that franchise from getting disappointed about the missed appearance.

The first showcase will air on Thursday, March 7 at 3 PM Pacific Time, featuring Dragon's Dogma II (likely a launch trailer, given that the game is out in less than three weeks) and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. The latter game was announced during last year's Xbox Games Showcase. It was described as following in the footsteps of previous Capcom games such as Okami and Shinsekai: Into the Depths.

In this title, traditional Japanese aesthetics are brought to life by the power of RE Engine. The developers are crafting a unique gameplay experience that blends action with strategy elements. In the story, players will witness an epic clash between the spirit realm and the mortal world as the villagers fight to cleanse the holy mountain on which they live. Foul creatures called the Seethe have besieged the mountain, drawn to the corruption that has spread throughout the villages. To purify the land and seal away the Seethe, the Spirit Stone Maiden must perform a cleansing ritual, but she requires a guide to clear her path. Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess will be shown again tomorrow as part of the Xbox Partner Showcase; the game is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X. It will be available on Game Pass starting on day one.

On the second day of the Capcom Highlights event, on Monday, March 11 at 3 PM Pacific Time, Capcom will divulge news about games that have already launched, including Street Fighter 6, Exoprimal, Monster Hunter Now, and Monster Hunter Stories.
