[UPDATED WITH PATCH NOTES] Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Receives 1.06 Patch On PlayStation 4, Size Revealed

[Original Story] Around a week ago, Call of Duty Black Ops 3 has received the 1.05 patch on PlayStation 4. The patch added DLC support for this version of the game as well as several tweaks, fixes and changes. However it seems like Treyarch is not yet done with changes and fixes for the time being, as a new patch has been made available on PlayStation 4 a few minutes ago.

According to several online reports, the new 1.06 patch is around 1 GB big if you have downloaded the previous patch. Full patch notes have yet to be shared but more on the matter will surely come in soon.

Last week's Call of Duty Black Ops 3 patch added support for the Awakening DLC pack, which is only available on PlayStation 4 as of now, as well as plenty of tweaks and fixes. Among the new features added by the 1.05 patch areColorblind Mode and an increased frequency for the DLC maps in all playlists. The 1.05 patch has yet to hit the Xbox One and PC versions of the game, but they should become available soon, according to Treyarch's David Vonderhaar.

The first Call of Duty Black Ops 3 DLC map pack, Awakening, has been released last week on PlayStation 4 in all regions. The pack comes with additional multiplayer maps as well as the first chapter of a new Zombie adventure. The Awakening pack has yet to be dated for Xbox One and PC, but we will surely hear more about the matter soon.

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is now available in all regions on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. The 1.06 patch is now available on PlayStation 4, but full patch notes have yet to be shared. We will update the post once they do, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
