Black Friday 2023 is right around the corner and deals on AMD, & Intel CPUs are already live, offering some amazing discounts to PC gamers.
Black Friday Deals Let PC Gamers Purchase Their Favorite AMD & Intel CPUs At Great Discounts, Here's All The Deals Available
PC gamers have been getting loads of discounts throughout 2023 and Black Friday deals are going to make things even better for everyone. Starting today, gamers will be able to find various deals on PC components such as CPUs, GPUs, motherboards, memory kits, and more. Today, we will be covering some of the upcoming Black Friday CPU deals which include AMD Ryzen 7000, Ryzen 5000 & Intel 14th, 13th, and 12th Gen chips.
Starting with the AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs, the new AM5 lineup is fantastic in all regards, offering great performance, great efficiency, and some amazing value. The prices of AM5 motherboards plus optimized support for high-frequency DDR5 memory make them a great choice for gamers and enthusiasts alike. What's even better is that investing in the AM5 platform today means that you'll get support for several future generations of Ryzen CPUs. There's something for everyone in AMD's Ryzen 7000 lineup with up to 16 cores for content creators, 3D V-Cache for gamers, and an insane amount of value in the $200-$400 US segment.
If you are one of those who want to stick with their loyal AM4 PC for a while and run an older Ryzen 1000/2000/3000 CPU, then AMD still has some great options in its Ryzen 5000 family with the Zen 3 core architecture. The 5800X3D is a fantastic upgrade for gamers while the 5950X delivers great multi-threaded performance. Those looking for APUs can also find the 5700G and 5600G as decent options.
Intel's 14th Gen Raptor Lake CPUs just came out last month and are now available widely across all major retailers. While not a significant update over the 13th Gen chips, the good thing about this lineup is that they cost the same as 13th Gen so if you were previously going to upgrade to a 13th Gen chip, you can now get a 14th Gen chip with slightly better performance at the same price and without changing your platform.
But all of those 14th-gen chips don't mean that the 13th-gen chips aren't worth considering. We can expect these chips to be available at great discounts and if you are able to find them at a lower price than the 14th Gen chips, then 13th Gen is definitely the way to go on the Intel front.
The best value however lies in Intel's 12th Gen offerings, especially the mainstream and budget segment where Intel has very strong and competitive options for the mass gaming market. The 12th Gen Alder Lake family offers great multi-threaded performance and efficiency and you can later upgrade to a 13th Gen or 14th Gen chip if you build a LGA 1700 socketed PC.
Overall, these are great deals and options for new PC builders and existing PC owners who are looking for a reason to upgrade their PCs with newer CPUs. There will certainly be more deals in the coming days so keep checking back as we will be updating this post daily throughout the Black Friday week.
