Baldur's Gate III

Baldur’s Gate III has only been out for a few days, but developer Larian Studios is already issuing a second hotfix for the game. The update fixes a number of crashes and progress blockers, including a number of instances of save games not loading properly, but the fixes that are going to catch most people’s attention of a more… delicate… nature. Apparently, some Githyanki are having a problem keeping it in their pants, literally, as certain penis options were clipping through characters’ trousers. Also, it seems male Gnome sorcerers were going commando under their robes. Larian’s really putting the balls in Baldur’s Gate it seems.

Larian has also made a very long list of fixes to Baldur’s Gate III’s cinematics. You can get the full, unabridged patch notes for Hotfix #2 right here.

In case you missed it, Baldur’s Gate III Hotfix #1 was released a couple of days ago and addressed a number of crashes and other issues – you can get more details here. An issue with cloud saves still persists, but since it’s tied to cross-save functionality, Larian has put it on the back burner until the PlayStation 5 version of the game launches.

Baldur’s Gate III is available now on PC. The PS5 version of the game arrives on September 6, and the Xbox Series X/S version likely won’t arrive until 2024 due to issues with getting co-op working on Series S. The game is already a huge hit, breaking into Steam’s all-time top 10 with over 800,000 concurrent players.
