ROG NUC 2025 with Core Ultra 200H and RTX 50 GPU Spotted, Expected To Feature High-End Performance & Optimal Cooling As Well

ASUS will showcase the next version of its flagship NUC product, the ROG NUC gaming PC. This will reportedly feature the latest Intel "Arrow Lake-H" CPU paired with the upcoming NVIDIA discrete graphics card. This will likely be called the "15th generation" of the NUC lineup, but for now, we aren't sure about the naming convention.

The popular leaker 孤城Hardware posted pictures of the ROG NUC 2025 on the Chinese media platform Weibo, which is slightly different from the previous generation. There seems to be an additional fan on the top, which is absent in the 2024 edition. However, much of the system looks like its predecessor. Except for the exterior, the configuration will be a lot different, as the ROG NUC 2025 will run on one of the upcoming Core Ultra 200H processors.

As per our speculation, it should be the flagship Core Ultra 9 285H, as the previous version boasted the Core Ultra 9 185H, a flagship Meteor Lake CPU. The GPU will be replaced by the desktop RTX 50 series. The previous model used the RTX 4060 and RTX 4070; therefore, an RTX 5060 or RTX 5070 is expected to power the new model.

In one of the pictures, the front panel ports are visible. These include 2x USB Type-A and 1x USB Type-C ports, along with an audio jack and a power button. The USB Type-C is absent in the ROG NUC 2024 edition, but the 2025 edition lacks the card reader that was available in the predecessor.

Unlike the flagship ROG pre-built systems with compact chassis, the ROG NUC systems are smaller in footprints and, therefore, utilize the mobile platform for their motherboard and CPU. This is also visible in the leaked picks; thus, in terms of performance, you can expect it to be positioned at the very top of the list.

ASUS ROG pre-built systems are quite costly, and one should expect the same. The previous flagship ROG NUC 2024 model with Core Ultra 9 185H, 32 GB memory, 1 TB SSD, and RTX 4070 was launched for around $2000 in China, and the 2025 edition will likely cost higher as the RTX 50 series GPUs are reportedly costlier than the RTX 40 series. Release dates and availability are uncertain, but we might get an update at CES 2025.
