ASUS MARS III GTX 680 X2 8GB Graphics Card Upclose!

ASUS chose the Computex venue to showcase their new flagship GPUs. Besides the HD 7970 Matrix, they also showcased the new upcoming ASUS MARS III graphics card which features dual GK104 GPUs side by side each other on a very strong PCB which is in effect is a GTX 690 with a custom PCB and added voltage increments and tweaking.

This is the 3^rd installment of ASUS’s famous MARS branded graphics cards. The card is expected to have a better cooling solution as well as higher clocks than the reference GTX 690.

Power circuitry wise, the card packs an 8 + 8 + 8 power supply design along with 8 GB of GDDR5 memory across a 512 Bit interface (4GB/256 bit each core) with the output ports have 3 DVI and a mini DisplayPort.

But be warned before hand, this won't be the fastest graphics card from them all. EVGA has come up with the GTX 680 2Win Graphics card to take away the crown this time.
