Several ASUS B850 and B840 motherboards make an early appearance in a retail store, revealing the price, design, and detailed specifications.

Italian Retailer lists ASUS ROG Strix B850 Models Starting at $270, TUF B850 Models Starting at $225, and B840 Starting at $177

Not much time is left before we see the unveiling of AMD's upcoming 800-series motherboards. While the unveiling will mostly inform us about the motherboard models, specs, and pricing, a retailer has already listed several of these motherboards for pre-purchase. MSI's B850 & B840 motherboards were also leaked a few hours ago.

The Italian retailer Info Graf Store has listed nine different ASUS B850 and B840 motherboard models on the website, revealing detailed specifications, designs, and prices in the region. There are 7x B850 and 2x B840 chipset motherboards in the lineup, featuring the popular ROG Strix, TUF Gaming, and PRIME families.

The ROG Strix family has four ASUS B850 motherboard models for the mid-range market, featuring ATX and m-ATX motherboards with support for AMD Ryzen 9000 CPUs out of the box and the latest connectivity features. These are:

Without 20% VAT, the price comes down to US$354 for the B850-E Gaming WiFi, US$292 for B850-F Gaming WiFi, US$268 for B850-A Gaming WiFi, and US$295 for the B850-I Gaming WiFi. The B850-E Gaming WiFi is the most powerful among them, offering 16+2+2 power phases for overclocking, native PCI-E 5.0 support for both graphics cards and M.2 slots.

 

Then we have the TUF series, providing three models with the B850 chipset:

Without VAT, the price comes to US$225 for the B850M-Plus WiFi and US$215 for the B850M-Plus. The price for the ATX B850-Plus WiFi isn't mentioned yet. The other two boards are for compact PC builds, offering decent specs and features for budget gaming/productivity builds. There are two more boards, featuring the AMD B840 chipset. These are:

Converting the prices to USD without VAT, it comes down to US$195 for the B840-Plus WiFi and US$177. These will be entry-level motherboards with a small form factor, targeting users on a budget and those who don't need overclocking features. These are also limited in component support and don't offer much for enthusiasts.
