Assassin’s Creed Origins will be getting a New Game Plus mode, the game’s community manager has confirmed.

Community manager Dominik Voigt, who goes by the name ‘domvgt’, said this on the Assassin’s Creed subreddit this weekend. “New Game + is coming”, he replied when asked about the mode. “We'll have more information to share soon”, he added.

Many fans have been asking for this replay mode ever since the release of Origins back in October of last year. The New Game Plus mode allows players to restart the game after they have finished it with end statistics or equipment being available from the beginning.

Back in January of this year, Ubisoft already stated that the game mode was being investigated. "We know that a large number of community members have requested a New Game+ feature”, Ubisoft wrote on its blog. “We are currently investigating the possibility of implementing this option in a future title update." In other words, it could well be happening.”

Assassin’s Creed Origins is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.  The game’s Hidden Ones DLC was released last week. We've included a short description and trailer below:

This story-driven expansion builds upon the growth of the Brotherhood, taking players four years after the events of Assassin’s Creed Origins, as they clash with an occupying Roman force in a new region of the world, the Sinai.

This expansion will increase the level cap to 45, allowing players to continue to upgrade and customise their character. Players will have access to four new Legendary weapons, a new outfit, two new mounts and multiple new weapons, as well as two new levels for all crafted gear. The Hidden Ones DLC is available for all season pass owners or can be purchased separately.
