ASRock X870E Taichi OCF motherboard achieves multiple overclocking records with '3 Global 1st Place' titles in 'PCMARK10 EXPRESS,' 'GPUPI V3.3 FOR CPU-100M,' and 'GPUPI V3.3 FOR CPU-1B.'

The AMD's new dual 3D V-Cache Ryzen 9 9950XD2 processor has secured top rankings in overclocking leaderboards on ASRock's flagship AM5 motherboard.

ASRock Announces Several World Records in Synthetic Benchmarks With AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 On X870E Taichi OCF

CPU world records are getting broken quite easily, especially since the AMD's new flagship Zen 5 has been dropped. While the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 failed to bring any noticeable gains in gaming over the smaller siblings, it's slightly faster than the previous Zen 5 flagship CPU in synthetic benchmarks. We have seen it delivering 2-10% higher performance in various synthetic benchmarks and enthusiast overclockers have already been pushing the CPU to its limits.

The ASRock X870E Taichi OCF needs no introduction when it comes to pushing the CPU to its full potential or beyond. Two of the prominent overclockers "AKM" and "l0ud_sil3nc3" have now secured top positions in some synthetic benchmarks as well as secured places in the top 10 rankings in some other tests. ASRock boasted about its motherboard's OC capabilities in a press release, calling X870E Taichi OCF fit for "extreme overclocking capability" and "rock-solid stability".

Both overclockers were able to secure number one position in the PCMark 10 Express, GPUPI v3.3 for CPU-100M, and GPUPI v3.3 for CPU- 1B benchmarks on the X870E Taichi OCF. When we checked, we saw that the current world record for PCMark10 Express is 14,588 marks made by Core i9 14900K while the l0ud_sil3nc3's score is at the second position with 14,475 marks. However, in the 16-core world records, this result is at the top position.

In several other tests, including 7-Zip, HWBot x265 Benchmark (1080p and 4K), Cinebench R15, y-cruncher Pi-2.5b and some more tests, both users were able to secure positions in the top 10 with Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition installed on X870E Taichi OCF.

These impressive results highlight the exceptional tuning flexibility and performance headroom of the ASRock X870E Taichi OCF, a motherboard engineered specifically for professional overclockers and enthusiasts.

Designed with extreme overclocking in mind, the X870E Taichi OCF features an advanced power delivery design, premium components, and an optimized PCB layout, enabling stable operation even under extreme workloads. This allows users to fully unleash the performance potential of AMD Ryzen™ processors.

Expect more such records to be broken in the coming days and weeks as enthusiasts have just started to explore the possibilities with the new chip. At the same time, keep in mind that this is a hobby and breaking these world records can cook your chip if you don't have possess extensive knowledge on overclocking. For the masses, it's better to opt for cheaper options like Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 9850X3D, and Ryzen 9 9950X3D as an additional 2-3% performance for several hundred dollars more doesn't make much sense.
