The image shows an ASRock Taichi graphics card with a visible Radeon RX 9070 XT GPU and an artwork display on its side.

This is the top-of-the-line RDNA 4 GPU from ASRock, which brings more features than the regular RX 9070 XT Taichi edition.

ASRock Launches RX 9070 XT Taichi White 16 GB OC; Multipurpose LCD, RGB Overload, but a 384-bit Memory Bus?

GPU and motherboard manufacturer ASRock has showcased a new GPU in its RX 9000 lineup under the Taichi family. The Taichi series offers top-of-the-line hardware, but the new card shows something unusual, which is technically not possible at all. The new card is the Radeon RX 9070 XT Taichi White 16 GB OC, which is an upgraded version of the black Taichi edition.

The GPU boasts a completely white PCB and a white heatsink shroud for gamers who prefer white-theme builds. One of the major changes on the card is the inclusion of the LCD dispaly on the right, which serves the purpose of showing system information such as GPU temperature and screen resolution. Moreover, the LCD screen can display more information such as Clock & Date, Weather Forecast, and Photo & Animation.

This feature is absent from the existing Taichi edition, but this isn't the only new thing we saw on the GPU. Yes, it does have RGB fans and stuff similar to the black edition, but the information on the PCB shown in the video doesn't seem to be correct. It shows that the GPU has a memory interface of 384-bit, while the memory capacity is still 16 GB. This is unfeasible right now since we don't have 1.33 GB of GDDR6 VRAM chips to achieve such a configuration.

Moreover, the PCB clearly shows 8x VRAM chips, which means we have the usual 8x 2 GB GDDR6 VRAM chips around the substrate. This results in 16 GB memory capacity but uses a 256-bit memory interface. It clearly appears that the video editor made a mistake, and we don't have such an RX 9070 XT GPU today. Apart from that, the GPU looks solid and beautiful. The product page isn't live yet, but we believe the specs should be similar to the black Taichi OC edition, which boasts a boost clock of up to 3100 MHz.
