Apple appears to be gearing up for a veritable product launch galore.

As if the low-cost MacBook, the M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBooks, and the iPhone 17e were not enough, we've just received an inkling that Apple might launch two new Studio Displays in the coming weeks, and possibly right around the time it holds its March event.

Now you can add two new Apple Studio Displays to the Cupertino giant's growing roster of imminent product launches

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman expects Apple to launch the much-anticipated low-cost MacBook, along with a host of new MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, as well as the new Apple Studio Displays "over the course of the next several weeks."

As far as the specific March 04 event is concerned, Deepwater Asset Management's Gene Munster expects Apple to focus on the low-cost MacBook and the iPhone 17e. We noted recently that Apple is likely to use a novel manufacturing process for the aluminum shell of its upcoming budget MacBook, which aligns with previous reports that had suggested that the Cupertino giant might leverage the thermal design elements of the iPhone 16 Pro, especially the ones that used a graphite-clad aluminum substructure.

Even so, given the current chronically depleted inventory levels of the M4-series MacBook Pro, we can safely conclude that Apple is gearing up to launch the M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pro devices in short order.

But now, we've just received a fresh inkling as to the imminent launch status of the new Apple Studio Displays, courtesy of the recent macOS 26.3 update, which contained references to three unreleased Apple product identifiers: J700, J427, and J527.

We already know that the J700 identifier refers to the low-cost MacBook. This has led many to conclude that the remaining two identifiers must refer to the new Apple Studio Displays, especially as the identifier J527 was also included in a pre-release iOS build that got leaked a few months back. Gurman has also previously declared that the particular identifier refers to an upcoming iteration of the Apple Studio Display.

As per previous reports, we know that at least one of the upcoming Apple Studio Display variants would feature a ProMotion-like variable refresh rate that can go all the way up to 120Hz, support both SDR and HDR modes, and come equipped with the new A19 chip, which should be a huge upgrade from the A13 Bionic chip that powers the current Apple Studio Display.
