There are three Apple Vision Pro storage variants to choose from

The Apple Vision Pro pre-orders are finally live, which only means that we get to learn more about the AR headset, starting with the number of storage variants that will be up for grabs. Initially, it was rumored that the head-mounted wearable would only be offered with 256GB of internal memory, but it turns out that there are actually three of them, one pricier than the next.

Top-end Apple Vision Pro model features 1TB of internal storage but retails for $3,899

At $3,499, the Apple Vision Pro was always going to be an expensive and polarizing piece of next-generation hardware, but the ballers out there will probably not want to remain stuck at 256GB of storage. The other variants feature 512GB and 1TB of onboard memory, adding a $200 premium to each model. The top-tier version will set you back by $3,899, which is around the price of a fully decked-out MacBook Pro, but if you have one of those lying around, you can add another ludicrously-priced contraption to your collection.

Regardless of which storage variant you pre-order, the internal specifications of the Apple Vision Pro remain unchanged for each one of them. That means all versions will be outfitted with the higher-end M2, which offers an 8-core CPU with four performance and four efficiency cores paired with a 10-core GPU. As for RAM, the Apple Vision Pro ships with 16GB as standard. Even though the maximum supported unified RAM limit is 24GB, Apple only allows the headset to feature 16GB.

We can expect one of the executives to explain those limitations, but we only have these details for now. The Apple Vision Pro will officially launch on February 2, and we will have additional information for you. In the meantime, will you become one of the headset’s early adopters?
