Apple Temporarily Removes watchOS 5 Beta 1 From Website Due To ‘An Issue That occurs While Updating’

yesterday, Apple made the watchOS 5 beta 1 available for developers on its website. Today, the company has seemingly stopped offering it and removed it. This means that you cannot download and install the watchOS 5 beta 1. Moreover, the company has acknowledged it and has stated the reason for its removal. We’re not sure about the time frame when Apple will make it available for developers again. So let’s dive in to see some more details on it.

Apple Temporarily Pulls watchOS 5 Beta 1 From its Website

As we have mentioned earlier, Apple has stopped offering the watchOS beta 1 on its website. On Apple’s developer portal, it is stated that the watchOS 5 beta 1 is “temporarily unavailable”. The company suggests that the update process renders the Apple Watch unusable for some users.

In addition to this, the company also stated that it is investigating the issue that prevents the update process. Apart from this, the company states that for those of you who have been affected by the issue should contact AppleCare.

Apple has not only removed the watchOS developer configuration from its website but has also removed the over-the-air or OTA update which will appear on the iPhone once the appropriate configuration profile has been installed. As we have mentioned earlier, Apple has not yet provided a schedule for when the watchOS 5 beta 1 will go live again for developers.
