Apple has released its latest software updates for the Mac, Apple TV, HomePod, and the Vision Pro. The latest updates arrive a few days after the company released iOS 17.4 with major changes imposed by the EU under the Digital Markets Act. The latest macOS 14.4, tvOS 17.4, HomePod Software 17.4, and visionOS 1.1 updates are available for all compatible devices and you can download it for free right now.

If you have been waiting for the latest macOS 14.4 update for your Mac, it can be downloaded from the Software Update section in System Settings. Apple has also released macOS 13.6.5, and macOS 12.7.4 for older devices. The latest update from Apple fixes a plethora of bugs and brings new emojis. You can download the update right now on your compatible Mac.
Apple has also released tvOS 17.4 to the general public, which can be downloaded through the Settings app on your Apple TV. Simply head over to Settings > Software Update and download the latest version. If you have automatic updates enabled, the latest update will be installed automatically. The update fixes bugs for a smooth user experience and stability.

Alongside macOS 14.4, Apple's visionOS 1.1 update is also live for the general public and can be installed from the Settings app on the Vision Pro. All you have to do is select the General section in Settings and choose the latest Software Update. You will have to remove the headset for the update to be installed. The external EyeSight display will show the progress bar of the installation process. The latest visionOS 1.1 update fixes a plethora of bugs and brings new Mobile Device Management controls, iMessage Contact Key Verification, and Accessibility improvements. Lastly, Apple has also released HomePod Software 17.4 version for the HomePod and HomePod mini. The latest update will allow the speaker to learn a user's preferred media service without you having to tell the name of the media app in your prompt.
