Apple has officially launched its Vision Pro headset to the world - The company's first major product release after the Apple Watch
Apple opened pre-orders for the headset on January 19, and today marks the first day of its availability for the general public. If you are unfamiliar, the headset features a handful of sensors and cameras that allow users to interact with the virtual elements on the display. The headset can detect your hand gestures and perform actions accordingly meticulously. It takes cues from your eyes, hands, and voice to transform everything around you into a "spatial computer."
Tim Cook is hopeful that the Vision Pro will begin the era of "spatial computing" and that the "Apple Vision Pro is the most advanced consumer electronics device ever created. Its revolutionary and magical user interface will redefine how we connect, create, and explore." If you want to get your hands on the device, the Vision Pro is available for $3,499. Tim Cook states that Vision Pro is priced at $3,499 because it is 'tomorrow's technology today.' The executive is celebrating the headset launch in New York City today.
Starting at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, February 2, we invite you to sign up for a demo of Apple Vision Pro at your local Apple Store. Demo times will be available Friday through the weekend on a first-come, first-served basis. We can’t wait to see you there.
You can get a demo of the Vision Pro at the Apple Store, which will be 25 minutes long. However, the demonstration will guide you through the navigation and the features it offers. Currently, the Vision Pro is only available in the United States, but the company will launch the device in additional regions like Canada ahead of WWDC 2024.
