After releasing a bespoke self-repair manual for each of its iPhone 17 models, Apple has now made available the spare parts for the new lineup, and some of those are, unsurprisingly, quite pricey.
Apple has now made available the key spare parts for the iPhone 17 lineup via its Self-Service Repair Store
Before going further, do note that the self-repair manuals and these spare parts have constituted a significant component of this year's iFixit score improvements, albeit very slight ones, for the new Apple hardware.
The following spare parts are now available in Apple's Self-Service Repair Store for the base iPhone 17:
- Battery - $99
- Back Glass - $159
- Front Camera - $199
- Enclosure with the Battery - $236
- Display - $329
For the iPhone Air, the following parts are now available:
- Battery - $119
- Back Glass - $159
- Front Camera - $199
- Enclosure with the Battery - $299
- Display - $329
Apple has also made the following spare parts available at its store for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max:
- Battery - $119
- Back Glass - $159
- Front Camera - $199
- Enclosure with the Battery - $299
- iPhone 17 Pro Display - $329
- iPhone 17 Pro Max Display - $379
As is evident from this information, the replacement costs for the back glass stay the same across the iPhone 17 lineup, as do those related to the front camera.
Unsurprisingly, battery replacement for the base iPhone 17 costs the least amount of money, while the iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max all entail battery replacement costs of $119.
Moreover, it costs $329 to replace the display in all iPhone 17 variants apart from the Pro Max, whose display will set you back by $379.
