Sapphire And XFX Silently List AMD Radeon RX 9070 GRE Gaming 12 GB GPUs on Amazon US

We know from recent reports that AMD was silently preparing to launch its China-exclusive Radeon RX 9070 GRE (Golden Rabbit Edition) GPU worldwide, and it looks like the embargo is about to be lifted soon. As of now, two GPU manufacturers have listed their custom editions for the Radeon RX 9070 GRE on Amazon US, marking the first entry in the region.

The first one is the Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 9070 GRE Gaming OC GPU. As you might already know, the RX 9070 GRE is the only RX 9070 series GPU to feature 12 GB VRAM. Its bigger siblings, RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT, offer 16 GB VRAM, and the 12 GB variant was specifically launched in China. The GPU listed boasts a 2920 MHz boost clock, 12 GB VRAM through a 192-bit interface, and for output, it brings 2x HDMI and 2x DP ports.

The card offers a dual-fan design and is pretty much identical to the Pulse RX 9070. The RX 9070 GRE is also rated at 220W, similar to the RX 9070, and brings dual 8-pin power connectors. We have another listing from XFX, but it looks like XFX took it down. It was the XFX Swift Radeon RX 9070 GRE, which is a white triple-fan gaming edition, featuring 3x DP ports.

Specs-wise, the card offers a cut-down NAVI 48 die, featuring 3072 stream processors and 2.79 GHz of boost clock on the reference design. Apart from the downgrade in the core count, the GPU also brings a slower 432 GB/s of memory bandwidth as a result of slower 18 Gbps memory and a 192-bit memory interface. The RX 9070 GRE has the same PCIe 5.0 x16 interface and was launched in May last year at a price of 4199 Yuan or US$620.

The current Amazon listings do not disclose the prices, but considering we have the RX 9070 listed for around $600-$650, the RX 9070 GRE should sell for under $600.
