AMD's RDNA 4 GPUs have taken the top spots on one of the biggest NA retailers and many RX 9070 Series GPUs are in the top 10.
Amazon GPU Best Seller List Shows Big Demand for AMD RDNA 4 "Radeon RX 9070" Series GPUs, XFX Mercury RX 9070 XT OC Takes the First Spot
Hardly a day has passed since AMD launched the first batch of RDNA 4 GPUs for sale, and we are already witnessing a massive demand for these GPUs. AMD promised wide availability of the RX 9070 series, and while in many areas we did see the GPUs going out of stock in a couple of minutes, there are various regions and retailers around the world which still have some good stock for these GPUs.
It's obvious that with only the RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 on the market with better availability from the current generation, the GPUs are going to sell like hotcakes and this is evident from the updated list of Amazon's Best GPU sellers list. We stumbled upon the bestsellers list and saw that the number one selling GPU on the retailer is the XFX Mercury Radeon RX 9070 XT OC edition.
It's a surprise since it not only takes time for the recently launched GPUs to appear on Amazon, especially when we have such a shortage in the industry, but also when the GPU is mostly out of stock due to huge demand. The RX 9070 XT is not only at the first position, but it has acquired several more in the top 10 and top 20.
There are currently six RX 9070 XT GPUs in the top 10 and around nine of them are in the top 20 best-selling GPUs list. The Radeon RX 9070 isn't too behind either. Even though the card is noticeably slower for just a $50 price difference, the Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 Gaming OC remains in fourth place. The next position is 11th for the XFX Swift Radeon RX 9070 OC and then the ASUS RX 9070 OC at 22nd.
Not only has the RX 9070 series taken over the top positions at Amazon, but the previous-gen RX 7000 series is also dominating the top 10 and top 20 positions, giving NVIDIA only a few spots for its RTX 4060 and RTX 3060 cards. Unfortunately, the recently launched RTX 50 GPUs hardly appear on Amazon's top 50 best-selling GPUs list except for a few positions, and all of this is due to poor availability and insanely high prices.
The next week or so will show us how the RX 9070 series does in the market and the true picture will be revealed when the market becomes stable.
