AMD's Radeon RX 7000 GPUs have now witnessed a decent price fall, as the mid-tier and high-end models drop down massively from their original MSRPs.

Well, the GPU industry is indeed preparing for the debut of next-gen consumer GPUs, mainly the Radeon RX 8000 series or even NVIDIA's RTX 50 "Blackwell" lineup, which is why retailers are in an inventory correction phase, which looks to start now.

AMD's Radeon RX 7700 XT, which was initially released at an MSRP of $449, has now dropped $349.99 (including AMD's Game Bundle), marking almost a 25% drop, which is quite impressive for a mid-range GPU, which is already in higher demand when compared to top-end variants in the markets.

Not only AMD's Radeon RX 7700 XT but also high-tier models such as the Radeon RX 7900 XT and the Radeon RX 7900 XTX have witnessed impressive price drops, dropping to $659 and $870, respectively.

These are some serious price discounts being offered by AMD, since we previously saw the Radeon RX 7900 XT revolving around the $700 price range, and now that it has entered the $600-$700 territory, the GPU is undoubtedly being offered at a decent price tag, although we do believe there's still room for more discounts.

As for the Radeon RX 7900 XTX, well, the GPU is now being sold for under $870, which isn't certainly too low when you consider that the SKU previously has been retailed for below this price mark, but given that multiple variants are being offered in $870 (includes AMD's Game Bundle), this shows that the price drop is effective for a larger SKU count out there.

Interestingly, the XFX "Magnetic Air" variant, which comes with swappable fans, is also included in the discount, hence consumers can certainly leverage aesthetics and quality with the discounted models.

The interesting fact to note here is that major US retailers are selling these SKUs at discounted prices, which means that the inventory is decent enough to cater to the demands of consumers. These price drops might not be temporary, given that we are at a point where retailers will eventually start aggressive inventory reduction, hence offering GPUs at discounted prices.

So now, the GPU deal frenzy is officially marking its start, and consumers can expect massive discounts on both AMD and NVIDIA GPUs in the upcoming weeks. So make sure to keep your eyes peeled for steal deals, since they will surely come.
